PRE LAUNCH PROPERTIES. How it works.

Pre-Launch Section

The OwnBrix.com pre-launch section allows members to bid a price of their choosing to either buy a property outright or to reserve Brix in a property. This is how the section works :

Bid for Property

By clicking on the Bid for Property button members can enter a bid price to purchase a whole property, the bid will only register if it is higher than the previous listed bid. This is not an auction but an offer to purchase the entire property. The earlier you bid the better your chances of buying the property at a lower price. The vendor can accept a bid at any time. In your personal account you will be able to monitor what bids you have made and if they have been accepted by the vendor. Once your bid is accepted, you will be asked to forward a 10% deposit to an escrow account and our lawyers will then send you a contract giving you 21 days to complete the purchase. Once completed you then have the choice of offering all or part of the property on the OwnBrix property market in fractional ownership or keeping the property in private ownership and managing it yourself.

Bid to Reserve Brix

By clicking the Bid to Reserve Brix button, you can reserve Brix in a property. You decide how many Brix to reserve and how much you are willing to pay for each of those brix. The Brix price is calculated on an average basis. As a buyer you only pay the price you reserved Brix at, not the average price so bidding early has clear benefits, as the property could launch in a few days with a 5-15% profit. Once 100% of the property Brix have been reserved ,the vendor can choose to accept the offered Brix price or allow reservations to continue. If another member bids a price higher than yours at that stage then your reservation is lost and will need to be improved in order to stay involved. Members will be able to monitor their bid status in the personal account section. Once the vendor agrees to accept the Brix price, you will receive notification of your transaction and the property will complete through the main contract process of OwnBrix.
